NHS Mail
NHS Mail is the main way you can send sensitive information to health services. It is an easy, secure and convenient way to send and receive accurate and timely information such as medical and prescription notes, test results and CPN reviews.
Electronic medicines administration records (eMAR) in adult social care:
Electronic Medication Administration Record System (eMAR), is an alternative to paper-based MAR charts.
eMAR systems digitally links care homes to pharmacy dispensing systems.
Plexus Care Record:
Plexus Care Record connects health and care records for practitioners in Sussex, providing them with the right information at the right time.
GP Connect
GP Connect is a service that enables authorised care professionals to quickly and efficiently share and view GP records and medical notes of the residents in their care in real-time.
Proxy Medication Ordering (Proxy Access)
Since 2002, GP practices in England have offered their patients access to several online services, such as online appointment booking and repeat prescription ordering, as well as being able to see the information the practice holds about them in their GP patient record.
Proxy access for ordering medications in care homes, and access to further information in the GP record, will enable care home staff to order medications and access essential information on behalf of their residents.
